The Slovakian international is set for a move to Dalian Yifang, in which the talented midfielder reportedly to be earning nine million euros per season.

Having been at the club for 12 years, Napoli agreed to let their current captain leaving them despite its still midway into the season.

The transfer news was confirmed by Partenopei’s boss, Carlo Ancelotti, who stated that there’s still a negotiation on going at the moment.

However, Ancelotti admitted that he and his club won’t be stopping Hamsik if the midfielder is willing to leave the club.

“There are talks. We are not hiding anything. As far as I and the club are concerned, if the player wants to try his new experience, we are inclined to give him what he wants,” Ancelotti explained.

This statement pretty much indicating that the move is imminent as long as the agreement between both clubs can be reached.

The media are convinced that 31-year-old will be signing his new deal with Dalian within 48 hours at the very least.

Hamsik himself has been linked with a potential departure to China since last summer, but nothing materialize at the time.
