Paris Saint-Germain host Real Madrid in the second leg of their Champions League last-16 tie on Tuesday Night.

Paris Saint-Germain go into Tuesday night’s second leg against Real Madrid with it all to do after they suffered a disappointing night at the Bernabeu.

Unai Emery’s side led when Adrien Rabiot slotted home Neymar’s cute assist, but a Cristiano Ronaldo double and a late third from Brazilian left-back Marcelo wrapped up the victory for the hosts.

PSG had more than held their own until the final 10 minutes, but Madrid’s late double means it is the European champions who are in pole position to secure their place in the competition’s quarter-finals.

Historically only a third of teams who lose the away leg 3-1 progress, and PSG’s task has been made all the more difficult by Neymar suffering a foot injury that looks set to keep the striker out of action until the summer.

Neymar’s absence is a huge blow for Paris but by no means Emery’s only issue heading into the return leg.

To compound matters Kylian Mbappe limped out of PSG’s cup game against Marseille and now faces a race against time to be fit for Tuesday.

Nevertheless, even without two of their star players PSG is still a force to be reckoned with and, with the likes of Edinson Cavani and Angel Di Maria in their ranks, will fancy their chances of causing Madrid problems.
