FC Masr suspend team training until June due to coronavirus
Egyptian Premier League side FC Masr, have suspended their team training for a month due to COVID-19 concerns starting from 15 May.
The Egyptian Premier League has been halted since 14 March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Egypt reached more than 8,500 cases.
As a result, FC Masr decided to put their team training on hold with no signs of the Egyptian Premier League potentially resuming soon.
The Egyptian Football Association recently extended the suspension of football activities for the fourth time until the end of May.
FC Masr are currently 18th, the bottom of the Egyptian Premier League table, with 11 points from 17 games played.
