Erling Haaland make it ten goals in Bundesliga as Borussia Dortmund easily thrash Schalke 04 after return of football in Germany

As football returned in Germany, Haaland couldn’t wait for the first half to end as he scored his tenth goal of the season since joining in January transfer window.

Dortmund players celebrate with Guerreiro after his second of the afternoon.

Dortmund shift the ball from left to right and Brandt flicks the ball into the path of Thorgan Hazard first time. The Belgian on the run crosses the ball first-time into the path of Haaland who lets the ball come across his body before guiding it into the bottom corner.

Dortmund had a second at the restart and  it was all of Schalke’s own doing. Schalke 04 Goalkeeper Markus Schuber couldn’t control Haaland ball as his kick is miscued to only find Mahmoud Dahoud inside the Schalke half.

Mahmoud Dahoud passed it to Brandt who played it with left-wing back Raphael Guerreiro to only  fire a low shot beyond Schuber into the bottom far corner.

Dortmund then extended their lead after 48 minutes with a swift counter-attack courtesy of Thorgan Hazard. Dortmund’s star striker took a big hit when he laid the ball off to Brandt in the move for the third goal.

The hosts are tough on the return as Raphael Guerrero added the fourth to put the Schalke 04 out of the game.
