Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt: Borussia Dortmund chase for second place, hosts on form Eintracht Frankfurt

Bundesliga-Borussia Dortmund vs Eintracht Frankfurt.

As Bundesliga goes to Match Day 22, Borussia Dortmund hosts Eintracht Frankfurt this Friday at Signal Iduna Park at 19:30 GMT

Borussia Dortmund will need to bounce back from the weekend’s defeat against Bayer Leverkusen.

Mats Hummels, Emre Can and Raphael Guerreiro goals were not enough to save Dortmund off against Leverkusen. Kevin Volland’ brace, Leon Bailey and an 82th minute strike from Lars Bender made the tally 4-3 in favour of Leverkusen.

Emre Can joined Dortmund from Juventus last month.

Eintracht Frankfurt on the other hand, has had an outstanding performance put five goals past Augsburg last Friday to go 9th in Budesliga standings. The visitors have gone five matches unbeaten in all competitions.

30-year old Bas Dost will return from illness having missed two recent fixtures.

With team news, Erling Haaland will lead the line for the injured Marco Reus. The 19-year old has been outstanding since signing for Dortmund from RB Leipzig in January transfer window. Winger Julian Bradt and midfielder Thomas Delaney are all on the sidelines.

Eintracht Frankfurt have good news of Bas Dos coming back from an injury having missed last Frida’ys win over Augsburg. The other bad news is that Midfielders Lucas Torro and Gelson Fernandes are sidelined while David Abraham is a doubt.

Prediction: Borussia Dortmund 2-2 Eintracht Frankfurt
